In 2018 GDPR came into force across the EU. At the same time, many countries in Europe have created their own data protection legislation. As GDPR enforcement increases, it is now more important than ever that companies keep abreast of their responsibilities. For many, they will have to appoint a Data Protection Officer who is required to have expert knowledge of data protection law.
