Jonathan Armstrong talks to both Roy Snell & Ty Francis MBE on ESG and compliance.
Roy Snell retired last year from his position as the CEO of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) & Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), a role which he had had for some 18 years. Together these associations now total more than 15,000 members. Roy was a co-founder and the organizations’ first President. Since retiring Roy has written two books on compliance – The Accidental Compliance Professional (see https://www.corporatecompliance.org/TACP) and IntegrityWorks: Tools and Skills To Build Integrity (see https://www.corporatecompliance.org/integrityworks). He is now an advisor to Osprey ESG Software.
Ty Francis MBE is Chief Advisory Officer at LRN. He has had a long and distinguished career in both the UK & the US including as Vice President of the New York Stock Exchange’s Governance Services division. Ty was made an MBE by Her Majesty the Queen in 2017 for services to business. He has successfully launched governance, ethics and compliance educational programs in the USA, France, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE & UK.
In a wide-ranging discussion they talk about different aspects of the ESG agenda and the role of compliance in ESG. The talk about topics including: –
